HOBY and Governor's Institute

Governor's Institute runs during the early summer just after school lets out. Porgrams are held for one to two weeks at college campuses around the state. Programs include a variety of disciplines including technology, the arts, leadership, social issues and more. This program is open to all high school students with preference given to juniors and seniors. To apply for the summer programs, please see Ms. Piffard second semester. There is also a winter weekend open to all students. There is a cost involved for the program, but there are also opportunities for scholarships. For more information visit their website at
