Janeway Scholarships and Freeman Scholarships

The Janeway Scholarship is given to 4-5 students in Windham County through World Learaning Inc and Freeman Scholarships can be offered to up to 3 students at each school in Windham county. Janeway Scholarships apply to all Experiment programs throughout the world and Freeman Scholarships apply to programs in China, Japan and Thailand.Programs occur during the summer, and are 3-5 weeks of travel, community service or homestay. We have had over 20 students participate in the past 10 years. The scholarships are open to students in their summers going into their junior or senior years. Presentations are given at school the previous December. Students can sign up to attend the presentations where the application process will be explained. Scholarships range from four to five thousand dollars a piece. TVHS students are very fortunate to have this opportunity offered to them.
