.....In 8th grade Spanish students participate in the second half of the
Spanish I program. They meet every day for 42 minutes. The class is based
on a variety of activities which practice the four skill areas of listening,
speaking, reading, and writing . At the end of the two year cycle of 7th
and 8th grade Spanish, successful participants will participate in a placement
exam to determine if they will proceed to Spanish II in high school.
