Course Description :

This class is a 1 graduate credit class offered through UVM which is open to master teachers in the WSSU who have applied and been accepted to the mentoring program. The course examines the fundamentals of effective mentoring, adult learning styles, trust, confidentiality, traits of skillful teaching, and effective conferencing techniques. The follow-up to this course will be a one credit mentor support group and topics class to be held throughout the year for mentors who are mentoring during the 2006-2007 year.
