Course Description :

This class is a 1 graduate credit class offered through Castleton State College which is open to master teachers in the WSSU who have applied and been accepted to the mentoring program. The course continues to examine the fundamentals of effective mentoring, adult learning styles, trust, confidentiality, traits of skillful teaching, and effective conferencing techniques that were introduced in the mentor training course. The seminar doubles as a mentor support group which will examine parallel topics covered by their mentees in the New Teacher Seminar.
